Have been thinking for 3 years and it's time for me to make my decision soon. Met up with Jason who is a CSM for Support coy of some Unit. He fill me in with all the information I want and it sounds not so good because it will be regimental.. Well.. It should be regimental in army!

Pros:Stable income, 13months pay (Am I right?) + YrEndBonus + PBonus + (some kind of scheme to give you 1 months more $), civil servants benefits.
Cons: Regimental, cannot get rich (吃不饱，饿不死), less social life!!

IF I were to be a architect, the buildings that I design will be GREEN. Roof top garden will reduce the temperature in the building by absorbing the heat. The whole roof will be filled with flowers, plants, big patch of grasses and more. Solar panels will be mount up as well to provide electricity for the entire building.

That is just the concept of being GREEN, the most important thing I see in this concept is money making opportunity in gardening. Grab the contract when town council release it to companies to bid.

However, personally I can just lie on the grass and enjoy the sky light at night (of course). Great place for couple to chill too! Don't you think so?

Just imagine all HDB and tall commercial building were to adopt this concept, Singapore will den truly be a Clean and Green Garden City.

Anw, talking about money making opportunity.. Another one I have in mind is setting up a PSD company. PSD stands for Personal Security Detail. How to backup Itunes library?

Summary

One way to back up your iTunes Library is to consolidate your library into one folder and then copy that folder to an external hard drive. This is a painless process that only takes a few moments to accomplish.

Step 1: Consolidating Your iTunes Library

Make sure the option to "Copy files to iTunes Media folder when adding to library" is selected.

Finally am left with one last written paper. Advance Routing lab test was okay but I stuck at OSPF where I totally forgotten to put "ip ospf network point-to-point" command in all int loopback. Manage to do it after Jia Hao told me to put those command but only manage to get 70 marks out of 100. Not so bad la, considering there's other people failing the lab test and some getting the same mark as me.

The worse thing is, on my way to 80 points checkpoint, I show the lecturer my configuration even though it did not work and he agrees with me that my configuration is correct but he couldn't give me my 10 marks. Damn.. really suay.

Back home and I was trying to see what's wrong with my sis ext hdd as she complain to me that it cannot be detected. It was a oem hdd where I brought it off the shelf from Best Bargain in SLS and luckily its still within warranty period because from my test, the hdd died. How and why? Don't ask me, though I suspect its most probably the logic board of the hdd give way.

WORSE! She came home, I told her and she ask me where to recover and because I'm lazy, tired from the lab test today. I told her to search for herself on google. NEXT, SHE CLAIM THAT AM BEING UNHELPFUL in a angry manner! WTF? If I am freaking unhelpful, then I wouldn't help to do basic diagnose on her hdd!! and not to mention to open an RMA case number with samsung!

anws, I still help her to find out 3 recovery service from the net. Up to her if she wants to use it anot.

NOTE: PLS PLS PLS! DO NOT JUST BACK UP YOUR IMPORTANT DATA ON YOUR EXT HDD THINKING THAT IT WILL NEVER GO WRONG!! I myself have ext hdd to cross backup important data, be it photos or music.

In fact, I have another 1TB ext hdd sitting in my closet waiting for me to build a RAID0 NAS. Then I will have 3 ext hdd which is well, more than redundant considering the NAS is capable to do RAID0.

So, Singapore Institute of Technology is offering overseas bachelor here, locally and it will take a full time student 2 year to complete it. Great news to me since my family doesn't really wants me to go Australia to study mainly because of the cost. But I also do not want to study in UniSIM because only govt sector recognise their cert. I can join SAF with UniSIM cert but .. aiya.. don noe, just don't like UniSIM cert also.

I still have about 3-4 weeks left in Ngee Ann am already been offered to work for my internship company right after I finish my course.

William who is the lead engineer told me Swong(boss) wants him to ask Alvin and I to come back for them. I didn't ask for the detail like how much per hour etc because it's still 3-4 week more before I officially end my dip life. However, I suppose the pay will be like $6/hour and OT at $10/hour.

I would love to take up this job but the stress while on site is so big that I would rather take a job that pays me $5 an hour. Not only that, the working hour as well, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. no flexibility at all.. I don't really like office hour job. It seems like I would reject their offer but I am still putting it as an offer to me. Never say never, right?

And since the offer is made to us, I suppose the other two course mate of ours were not offer for this.

Why the hell am I nominated to have a dialogue session with the division director? I mean, I knew who's going with me as well because my course manager din even make the effort to protect each of our email address by sending to us using BCC! Those who will be attending with me have one thing in common which I do not obtain through these 3 years of my studies. That is to have my name on the notice board for top 10 of the year in our lab area. Which means am the only one with the lousiest GPA among all!

Had my NAPHA test today and well.. As expected, Fail. LOL!

But I must say I did well for my pull up though! I couldn't pull more than 6 using front grip method before and I did 8!

Standing board jump was disastrous for me. Jump, and landed too much on my left leg causing stress for my left knee and I fell down on to the floor also immediately. It hurt so much at that instance to the point that it reminds me of a dream I had days ago.

My worse dream started where my eldest sister were with me at some void deck and I don't know what happen, I save her life but I lost my right leg. And immediately the next scene was in my mother's room where I was sitting on a wheelchair with my family surrounding me. I cried because I realize without my right leg, I couldn't do anything I love. I couldn't walk anymore, couldn't run anymore, no more cycling, my dream as a Guards Officer were broken, I have no confident to woo her anymore and at that point, I wanted to just end my misery. I cried so badly in my dream and it was so real that I was actually tearing while sleeping/dreaming ever since my grandma passes away. Tactic of not getting hit when the game marshall wave the flags to start the game.

1) Sprint as fast as you could to spread out from the rest of your team mates.
2) As you sprint, pull the trigger a couple of time pointing at the opponent though most probably you will miss it but there is still chances to hit them and they have to re-spawn from the start point!
3) Get LOW as you sprint. You don't want the paint balls to be hiting your head! ( I am very guilty of this )
5) ASK FOR COVER FIRE when you move from one place to the other!

One last game. PRAY hard to any god you can think of to not the the most suay person of the game.. Trust me. The last game I had, this lady had the most hit on her (probably she is tall and wols), she is the one who had 2 head shot from me as well (The first was friendly fired and the other one was when she was my opponent)

Was my mouse. Logitech v450 nano mouse, less than 3 months old. Send it to service centre twice because the first time, they could not find any fault with it. I brought it home and video down the fault and bring it to them again. Replace me with a M505 mouse. Same same but different. Color is black instead of my red mouse.

Now, my ext hdd is gone when i power it on this morning. Sending in for RMA though I know it's the power box die and not actually the hdd. Don't think they are going to change the power box for me as they are not WD but WD sub-coy in singapore.

Looking for a NAS with raid 1 will do! with raid 1, HDD up lorry also no problem ar!

So, what NAS should I get? Thecus N2200 that cost about 26X with no hdd inside? or DNS-323 that cost about 27X with no hdd inside? no matter what, the total cost will be around 500 SGD with 2 bay 3.5" 1T storage for raid 1(which is mirroring and for me tt is more than enough.. no need raid 5).

On Saturday morning, she sms me again saying she develop body rashes and cant go.

So I replied this : Please find someone to take over as over all in charge. Did you see a doc? you should and if u do, pls show me ur receipt or watever u can prove it.. so tt i can give u ur deserve pts(cca points). The last sentence is because of her email she once send to me saying HOPEFULLY I WILL GET MY DESERVE CCA POINTs. What an asshole rit?

Next, She plan to have a xmas carol at a old folks home soon and I suggest to her that we should postpone this as we have a few activities coming up and it's quite tight. We don't have the resource as well. I include our lecturer in that email. Nobody reply and she look for our lecturer and talk watever things she wants to say without me. I got a call from my lecturer and told me to let her go ahead. I agree. But does my lecturer knows she will not be there on that day of event?

I mean, what's the point of organising the event when you don't event want to go down on that actual day? In a email she say this: I hope this event will go through as it is for a good cause. So I thought of change the in charge to someone else. Shall see how again.

To me, a couple who have abortion is irresponsible as well(except those who were rape). They want to have fun without protection but when accident happens, they just want to scrap it off and not letting it to come out and see the world even though it can be ugly at times.

Don't come and tell me that they are not financially stable or wat fuck because it's a life they dig out from Virgina and dispose it off. Can they sleep well at night? I wonder.

Right, for those who are reading this.. am saving your money!

If you are going to spend $100 and above to get that 100mbps from one of the ISP here thinking that you will be having god-like speed, think again.

Let me explain why, the 100mbps is from your house to the ISP exchange point! even so, if you are using wireless at home, you will still cap at 54mbps if you're still on G standard! okokay, if you're on N standard, yes 300mbps for LAN which means you can transfer packet through the air to your router/access point at the 300mpbs speed and the catch here is UP TO 300mbps. So, wireless N router/access point is still a good buy if you have a NAS at home because you can transfer your data UP TO 300mbps.

Back to the 100mbps plan with your ISP. okay, let say you now have got the best of everything at home... 100mbps boardband plan, wireless N. But when you access website that are host overseas like in the USA, you still get the same speed with someone who uses 3mbps accessing the same web when the traffic is high and when any of the undersea cable is cut like the recent ACPN2 cable.

What about site hosted locally? That I'm not soo sure but surely it must depend on the traffic. If it's jam den you're still wasting money.

I manage to buy at $145.XX and sell at $150.00 for 91 or 96 stock which means I made about $400 USD after the transaction fees which cost $60usd.

C is now at $4.09 and I am allow to buy slightly more than 11 lots of shares which means 1100 shares. So, $4.09*1175=4805.75+20+30 =4855.75+400=5255.75/1175=$4.472

Right, the 20+30 actually is the transaction fees, why the fee is diff? because I will only need to pay $20 for buying market price and $30 to sell at limit price. There's a diff for this two.

Why buy C? Simply because J.Cramer mention it in his interview with thestreet.com and also US put their money with C so C won go bankrupt (hopefully). It was at $20 during mid 2008. So i suppose if I keep the 11775 with me now and wait for perhaps half a yr? And of course, judging from the 3 yr curve, it is now at the lower point, not the lowest but low enough. yes.. that is what I am doing lately.. trading virtually on the web even though there's a delay but it's real and exciting. Starting to readup thestreet.com as well.. it's rather interestesting to know the terms like bullish market, bearish market, short trading etc etc..

And if you look closely on the screenshot, my trade for aapl, c, csco is all in RED! It actually means am losing $$! well, virtual money though.. and you can see there's 5 new stock am trying to buy later when US market open. OIL, USO and BP is viewed as BULLISH market after it plung ytd? or maybe for a few days already. aapl stands for APPLE INC! well, I brought 200 shares at $194.11 and the current price is $192.40. Thus, I put another order for AAPL at $192.00. Hoping it will deep further and later rise back to $198. well, it was at $208 last week if not, two weeks back!

Well, finally I gt my laptop to print wirelessly with my cannon mp558 which I brought from Comex 2009.

Win7 XP mode! So far, the only drawback of using x64 of win7 is that I cant use the serial to USB convertor to console the router. But, XP mode fix it all. It's a virtual machine running win xp. So far so good..

Am quite screwed now.. don noe why.. just feel it that way.

O ya.. anw, SAF is going to have 8 new ranks! They are the Military Experts A.K.A M.E. They will be in SAF as Engineer, Medic and another vocation which I cant remember.

The other day I was travelling towards City hall on a North South line train and I started thinking, why is NS line named NS Line? NS line should belongs to NEL! Becos if you look at the map of the MRT, NEL stretches from Punggol to Habourfront which is from North of Singapore to the South! Whereas, NSL is from Jurong (considered west) to North and to south. NSL should be WNSL(West North South Line).

MORE AND MORE FT are in Singapore especially MARINA SQ's food court, flooded with Ah Tiong. The ratio of PURE SGREAN to FT is now 4:1 so in another 20yrs time, I suppose it will be 3:1 and finally there will be no more pure Singaporean.

With most of the jobs going to FTrash, the only job for us is to serve the nation ie: SIGN ON!

Blame the govt for letting in too many FT.
Blame SGrean for not working harder compared to AH Tiong.

Paintball was FUN!

Jerlyn, my eldest sister's friend, kena one HEAD SHOT from me. It happen like this, we(terroist) suppose to shoot down a target, plant a bomb and retreat. YG shot down the target, I plant the bomb and I am the first to return to base and I shouted 'RETREAT!! RETREAT!!' While they are retreating, I saw my sis-inlaw who is in the (Counter-Terroist) team firing at them, of cos I have to do some cover fire. I miss first 2 shots and as I shift my gun slightly to my right, and I pull the trigger. JERLYN APPEAR OUT OF NOWHERE INFRONT OF ME! and HEAD SHOT! I was like WTF? Lucky she's alright.. she still thought it was C.T who shot her.

Jerlyn was also the one who kena the most shot at the end of the day..

My second head shot was to JERLYN as well! SAME SPOT! but she's in C.T.. oh well, she's just suay..

Third head shot was to (4get his name!)!! he was hidding behind this big piece of wood and I saw him! pull 3-5 shot b4 finally hitting his mask!

It's really worth the $36 man..

Every Polytechnic and Universities spend millions if not hundred of thousand dollars to buy software and windows operating system for students. And most of that money comes from us!

So, if you are techky enough to clean format your laptop and install with win 7, go ahead and ask your school IT admin to register you in MSDNAA and you can download it along with valid the product key! For Ngee Ann you email to dept-cc@np.edu.sg and I had done so already but I have yet download win 7 Pro RTM as there is no x64 version of it!

Thus, I email the IT admin again to request him to put up the x64 version for me to download as x64 is going mainstream now(well, i read it of somewhere)!

If you are wondering what's x64 and x86 of windows, it actually means 64bit and 32bit of windows! Ever since windows XP, there is always two version on windows but never till now, 64bit is useful as most software developer did not create a 64bit version for the x64 windows user back then but for now, most of the software are compatible with it! well, except for most anti virus and maybe one or two program.

There is another issues with Win 7, that is most hardware now does not have the win 7 deriver but many claim that windows update in win 7 (vista as well) help them to update the deriver and they do not have to search for it manually!

Right now, what I am missing with is just a 2gb DDR2 667 RAM {which i am going to hoot soon ;)}, win 7 pro x64 which I had not download it yet and ya.. that's it. I just need to backup my files and etc to my ext hdd and format it! woo la la.~~~

Comex is coming soon, infact it's next week. I am going to look for a AIO printer which my budget will be around $200 and hopefully it has bluetooth for wireless connection.

After that, I will need to sell my 'NOW' printer since it is still printing, a pair of schwalbe racing ralph tyres which I took down because I change it to slicks previously and also a 1gb DDR2 667 ram. any one interested?

Rit, back to cycling, I haven been cycling for like a month already? Lazy and I don feel like it is the excuses.

As for what I am busy with now, it's windows 7. haha.. I will be getting win7 soon where some say it's gt the speed of XP and the visual of Vista. I will see how again, will update it.

Right. I am very excited on 9 september this year simply becos Apple may announce NEW IPODS!!!!

Well, actually not only this, there's 3 person I know will be celebrating their birthday also, one of them being my mum and the other is my niece.

Apple annual event on sept(it's the third year in a row now. previous two yrs they intro new ipod touch one after another) means there maybe a IPOD TOUCH 2GSpeed!! maybe with another camera install or best still, come with FM receiver! If this is true, I will sell my ipod touch 2g 8gb away and get a 16gb version!

Come on Steve Jobs, pls grant me my wish! pls......

I am almost done with my Final Report!!

Was day dreaming just now and I wanted sooo much for my room's table to have a above average CPU rig with 2x 20" LCD screen and also wireless keyboard + mouse!! Of cos, that rig will run Windows 7! and at the other end of my table, I will have 15" macbook pro looking at me! I always wanted to own that sleek piece of machine!

Can anyone grant me that wish? if so, can I add another 20thouand dollar for me to buy two more bike? 10k each for full-sus & roadie.

Anyone want to take class 2B(even my sister don let me to i will still take! Simply becos she's gt class 2b and 3! how can I loss to her?)? text me, we shall go tgt..!

On a side note, WHAT IS BEN FOSTER doing?!?!?!? actually I would say Chelsea is just lucky and so is Ronney's 90min goal(the referee cockeye.. -_-).

Previously I wasn't able to post any pictures up here and I though it will be fine after I reboot my computer etc. But it did not get away and nth seems to help!

Alright, so it basically only happens to Singnet user. Follow the steps below which I goggle-ed and you will be fine. ;)

For IE.
Tools -> Internet Options
Click on "Connections" page tab
Click on "LAN Settings" button (if you are using Broadband)
Check "Use a proxy server for your LAN ..." checkbox
Click on "Advanced" button
Under HTTP type, input "proxy.singnet.com.sg" for proxy address and "8080" for port

For FF
-> Options
Click on "Advanced" tab
Click on "Network" page tab
From the "Connection" frame, click on "Settings" button
Select "Manual proxy configuration" option
Under HTTP proxy, input "proxy.singnet.com.sg" and "8080" for port
do not check 'use this proxy for all protocols'

Just some update on my cycling sports.

New high speed with 59.6kmh! 0.4 more to hit 60 but I don think I can hit it. Because when I am doing 59.6kmh, I coulden pedal anymore! Which means I am already at the fastest speed my bike can bring me.

I join the north ride on last friday meeting at Yishun Dam to Mandai where I clock the 59.6kmh on a down slope and also 60km for the ride. It was fun but tiring, almost drop dead when reach home.Yea, I noe it's very un-glam

!!!

On a side note, have you even sit in a Proton travelling at 130kmh in Singapore? I do! and trust me, it aint no fun at all.. ;)

Apparently, the Doc I visited sort of suspect I had H1N1 and gave me 7 days MC. Well for now, my throat is still not that well yet. And I had almost finish all the dugs!

Well, Justin is down with high fever, 38.6 degree. That reminds me of my sec 3 AdventureTrainingCamp where I was warded into the sick bay on the last night of the camp. I had a high fever of about 38 degree as well.

So, what's the right treatment against fever? See a doctor, for an obvious reason! But, I have two more solutions to share with you. And that is to drown lots of water down in your body and wipe yourself with cold tower constantly to reduce the temperature. Imagine I drank 3 x 1.5L of water in 2 hours and only pee once 3-4 hours later. That is how much our body needs the water to function.

I realise I can go from 0 to 40kmh in like very fast? i even won a taxi!(well, just for like 3seconds before he overtook me.)

anw, I had another ride with louis and shin, not forgetting David (Full sus, all mountain bike, staying near my place as well!)

We met up at Cyclology and went to Colin's hse over @ kovan to see his beauty. It just look soo new and tempting to own it!

And when we are leaving, I had a clumsy fall! This is what happen, my right leg was click on to my spd and I fall to my right, injuring my knee which is still painful now while typing this entry.

Met up with shin at Geyland Baru and went Leisure park, ECP's lagoon where we rested and to Singapore Flyer den back where we rested at a SPC petrol station and at Thomson rd.

o ya, saw a grp of singer speed riders! they are fast!! especially the ang mo guy where he is definately above 40kmh! I was like chasing him behind and when i gave up, I took a glance at my speedo, it's 40kmh!

Just some pictures for runway cycling last week end.IN FRONT OF THE MIGHTY BMC!!

I am definitely going back to the next runway cycling!
To di-siao xiao mei mei like wat we did hahaaha!

And yesterday, Louis, Shin, Benny and I went to climb Mt.Faber which was my second climb and I did well. At least I din gave up very early like my first climb.LOL.

Climbing Mt.Faber is hell for all rider, tt I can confirm.
BUT!
The sweetest part is also at the last part, going down is sooo shiok man!
Especially at the semi-circle turn where am negotiatingat about 30kmh!
Madness!

And I had clock my top speed again! this time is 57.8kmh down a underpass near queensway.
Looking to clock 60kmh the next time though. Hopefully my frame/fork won give way.

Thanks to Louis, am posion deep deep with loud, noisy hub. and also he magura marta SL disk break!!! wth.

On a side note,
I HAVE JAIL BROKEN MY IPOD TOUCH!!!

Okay, you see.. It's been a month since I update this.. which mean I haven really touch my bike for a month.

except for changing my tyres. I brought a pair of t-serv from a MO in SMBF and finally I am not so lazy to change it last weekend and tested it by riding to prata and back. feels nice! ;)

FINALLY MY MSN PROBLEM HAS BEEN SOLVED!

I encounter an error code 8100030d when trying to sign in with my msn account. try to surf the net and no help was successful!!

Was about to format my laptop then I yahoo the code and I came across this blog about all sort of error code for msn.

I solve my by deleting every single folder in

C:\Documents and Settings\(ur log on name)\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows Live Contacts

3/4 island @ 80km

Had a 3/4 island ride yesterday which commence on 8pm and ended on 2am. 80km long from Serangoon north to bishan where we(jia sheng and william) waited for william's fren and headed towards mount faber via novena and tiong baru.

Am a sucker to climb so I push my bike up the peak to mt faber where we rested before going over to west coast mac to makan! William had his 1st fall while stopping at mt faber. He coulden clip out in time and fall to his left, no injury though, only a big hole on his shirt.

Road down Mt faber was fun, easily hit 40km/h with no pedaling, cornering at tt speed was not a joke, i had to corner fast and gird on to my handle firmly. very shiok!

Road to West Coast mac was rather flat and we are doing an avg of 30km/h with me drafting william's fren and them behind me. When we reach there it was about 25km only.

Makan and went off to complete the rest of the ride. We went the long way where we go all the way to Jurong and by pass the Jurong pier, Jurong Point which is at Boon Lay, Lim Chu Kang emergency runway for RSAF and pass by the Civil Defence Academy. Then to Kranji where we stop to rest while watching Johor baru. LOL.

Basically at LCK's run way, we were in 2 by 2 position meaning William and his fren were at the front while me and jia sheng are trying to draft them. I manage to draft at about 5cm or less between my front tyre and his rear tyre. It is very dangerous if he e-brake or slow down and I don notice cause we were travelling at about 30kmh as well. At times, I am very close to his rear tyre like about 2cm maybe?

After the LCK runway we had to climb a long and gentle slope up where I gave up again to push my bike. I swear this trip is the fastest, longest and the most number of time I push my bike!

And we went out of those ulu places and reach kranji MRT where we finally saw some civilisation! Imagine for about 10+km with only steet light by the side and hardly any vehicle will pass by you..

From Kranji MRT towards Marsiling MRT, JS and I push our bike up the slope again.. too tired even though it's only 60+km at tt time, but the speed that we are going wear me out fast.

Just before we reached Marsiling MRT, at the traffic junction, William had his second fall while stopping on his spd!! he unclip on his left, lost his CG and fall on his right crashing on the the pillion rider of a new SUPER4! the super4 too fall on the ride and the ride had to get off to push it back up! haha... It was so funny that when we stop and rested at Marsiling MRT, we could not help it but to keep on laughing!!

All the way back home was a pain.

Brought a new Met helmet and a pair of Panaracer T-serv 26"X1.5. It's going to be fitting into my new wheelset.. haha..

So i had 2 rides with a group each and a ride to C2C to change my handle bar and brought my tights last friday.

The first ride was to cycle from Compass point's UOB bank to somewhere near Jln Kayu and loop back tp SK then to punggol area and back to SK and to explore the new bridge connection between SK and Tamp rd. So I had know a few more peeps who cycle can cycle more with them. Infact I jus came back from a ride with Louis and Ritz and 'Saint' !

'Saint' is super fast man.. serious..

We rode from amk hub to Bishan PCN, to SA JC, Kallang MRT, Kallang PCN, rode in to the F1 grand stand, Marina then Central, river valley rd to makan.. somewhere near Zion rd and back home from there to Orchard and to thomson then marrymount Rd then Bishan and I went home. Total dist is 35.85 km for me.

Manage to try in my Elan tight today and b4 i left, I tried to put it on with undies and with/out undies.. and I think with undies is better.. no underwear feeels weird. haha

Gt my top speed higher again! 50.1 was my top speed for long and steep downhill. SO SOICK! went over two hump. pedal a bit more then I din even jump and my bike just JUMP!

my stright rd top spd is still 43+ though, hopefully I can acheive more after I got my next pharse of project done. (change wheelset and change to slick)

So, I have gotta my not so new saddle.. it's second hand from some guy who live around compassvale for quite cheap, 10 bucks only and it looks professional. HAHA.. and I had dea with this guy in CCK for his cleats in exchange for $30. and another $110 well spend on my new SPD MD76.. tt's 150 gone.

Had gone out in 2 ride in my spd and find it quite good actually. And I don't think I will commute to work now cause I had just returned from a short short ride of about 7.5 KM and I am sweating like hell. Imagine I will be sweating like hell b4 I work.. no man.. it's uncomfortable..
Maybe I will do it on friday where I will be meeting someone at ECP tp ride..

So, whats next? maybe slick tyres.. I may put up another post to look for some body who wanna change their tyres to semi-slick from slick.. so I will do a 1 to 1 exchange and then change ther pump as slick tyres has got to use diff type of pumps.

Tights, i may need one.. to protect me from NOT able to celebrate my father day next time.

So, I have been considering to ride to work these few days and I need to consider several factor which may or may not work it out for me.

1) Traffic. From my place to KA Centre, I would say it's pretty much safe as I will be travelling in the bus lane most of the time. well, except at yck rd towards serangoon stadium. But, I will be wearing my safety gears all the way so it's pretty much safe.

Then I need to convince my mum, sisssss that I am safe to work everyday. I know I am cause I can say that I am a very catious rider. Speed? max I can go on a downslope everyday to work is about 40kmh? the rest will be about 25-30kmh.

2) Freshen-up room. okay, so basically I won be sprinting and I will take roughly about 10-15 minutes to reach my place so I dont think I will be sweating a lot and I don have a shower room. only a toilet. So I guess wat I will do is to bring a towel and wipe myself up. change into my jeans and polo tee to work.

3) My BB is still not fix. I am kinda lazy to get it fix, I just want a new bike. LOL. If I can choose, road bike. yea. polygon helio 300 will do. haha.. or any entry level road bike. or maybe a hardtail with lockout and slick tyres. This is the most troubling point as I need to spend $ on it...

4) I goona need to carry my45+10L haversack to work everyday! to put my clothes and shoes etc..

5) MOST IMPTLY, I need a place to store my bike. Okay, my work place is like when you enter the main door, you have to enter another small door to go into the store so that place is some sort like a buffer zone and it's quite safe as very little ppl came in and out. mainly forwarders, us and the engineers. I need to ask Kian Hua who is the head of the store for permission to put my bike there.. if this fail, tt's it.

TO ADD ON TO POINT 3... I want a new bike or maybe can some one give a gt ava 1.0 as my birthday gift? if not, 4-500sgd will be enough as well! pls! lol...

Haven been riding lately, thus feeling a little unfit. lol

There may be a ride from ECP to Changi.V with my secondary school mate, but it's very not confirm. Even if it's confirm, I am still vex about riding my 19 there or just rent a bike there. Well, will till the ride is confirm den come back to that question.

I always want to go Marina Barrage on my bike, but it seems like no one wants to go, cousin's having some dragon boat training on sat, and few ex-cyclist mate are still busying with exam. Well, if possible I hope we can go on this Saturday..

Now I am looking at my bike which is of cos in my room.. Thinking to change the bike away since it's 3yo, bb is making hell lots of noise, frame 'grow' smaller etc.. Previously, I was still thinking to get back hardtail with lock out front suspension which comes with most of the new bike, and I will fit the hardtail with 1.5 slick tyre and get clip less pedal to increase my power transfer.

But now I am looking at road bike, a decent one will cost me abt $1k. I am looking at Scott speedster S50, S60. Low end bike but hell to that, as long as it can serve me well..

This S50 will cost me 1.3k if I am not wrong, and that's w/o clip less pedal.

I suppose Giant's rd bike might me more expensive then S50, thus I don even consider them. But, if I really get a racer, it means that I can no longer ride like how I am riding now(jumping from road to pavement over curb, riding on uneven surface etc).

But then again, hardtail seems to be a better choice cause I can ride like how I am riding now, and I can go slick and increase my speed and of cos, it seems to be more worthwhile.

This Jamis durago 3.0 cost about $1k as well and I just gonna change the tyre and save a couple hundreds more to buy my clip less pedal and shoes.

This is GT AVA 1.0 with V-brake and I DON'T MIND V BRAKE at all, the good thing is, it comes with clip less pedal, which means I can jus buy the cleats and vola!

Well, this is exactly the same except the colour and also this is in disk-brake mode. I would probably get this and change the tyre to slick and buy the cleats.
Well, I think I am going to get some sponsorship from hmmmm.....

Now, I only gt like 600 bucks for the bike, i seriously need to save more. Meanwhile, I will make the bb sound more crazy by cycling more!

HOT on TAIL.

Was on a mission to somewhere near the new Sengkang sports complex, so i went on my wheels.

Don know if it's the wind that's going against me, or is it that i woke up not long ago or i simply jus too tired, i couldn't cruise at 30kmh, i jus lack of that smth to pedal.

Was travelling on Sengkang E Rd, den i turn left to go Anchorvale Rd and pass the new complex which i had it planned to be my first pit stop(to get myself a drink). But, realized that the 7-11 wasn't open, and construction is still going on.

Next was the long load towards Fernvale St. It was fun.. well.. to a certain extent. I manage to reach 41.5kmh on straight and I AM PROUD TO SAY I OVERTAKE A CAR. except that it's a L plate car. haha.. nvm, i wonder how can she tahan to travel so wols, cos on that road i will try my means to stay at the speed limit (50), once the pin drop a bit, i will accelerate a bit more..

yada yada yada.. after I am done with what I am supposed to do, I decided to go Kampong Buangkok, which is the last kampong in Singapore. Some more I will pass by it while going back, so why not?

Everything was good, enjoying every bits that the place can give me, be it the scenery or the aroma of the flower. BUT, not till when I stop at a dead end, I din notice there were dogs there. so i stop, wanted to take my phone out to take some pics. Out of the sudden, 1 dog was barking and came rushing out den went back, next moment i heard more than 2 dogs bark, and came rushing towards me! wa lau, don wait liao, i faster pedal and run!

I turn my head back and look, saw this black dog is hot on my tail. See liao i pedal even faster and I reach a T junction where I almost slip when I am turning right. luckily, this friendly lady living at the T junction help me to chase the dog back. close shave..

A whole new start

Just gt back on my wheels 3 weeks ago when my cousin decided to get himself a bike. GT ava 3.0 disk at $620 if i din remember wrongly and some other essential items like lights, both front and rear, and a helmet.

My set up would be a stock wheeler pro19 which i gt it 3 yrs back. what i have done on that bike was to change my tyre to Schwalbe racing ralph and add 2 light to my 19, 1 in front, the other at the rear.

and I use to ride with/o any helmet, but that's history. I realized how accident can happen within a split second and anyone can be lying on the tar road. That alone make me buy my helmet that make my wallet $70 lighter.

Now, i am realizing that 19 is no longer suit my needs. the frame 'grow' smaller, realized that i am riding mostly on road, so it will be best if my bike is fitted with a slick tyre, or even better, get myself a scott speedster 50(dream on). HAHA..
